Asticou Azalea Garden
Asticou Azalea Garden lives inside a 1,400-acre preserve with hiking trails, adorable ponds, and three beautiful Japanese-style gardens. The season begins mid-May with bursting cherry trees, followed by a myriad of colorful azaleas and rhododendrons from May till June.

Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park (New England’s only national park) is a must-visit all year, but particularly special in June when the wild lupines begin to burst open.
In early May, you don’t need a parking reservation to see the sunrise at the top of Cadillac Mountain (the first place to see the sunrise in the U.S.). From late May to October, you do need a parking reservation.
You shouldn’t miss these while in the park this spring:
